50 nifty

I have been a busy girl.... that's my excuse for abandoning this blog.

I've also been conducting what has become a social experiment. Let me explain.

I was interested in getting some more views and making some new friends, so I started moving my profile location around. I started in LA and have just been moving up and down the US. I'm currently "in" Minnesota.

I didn't think doing this would cause much upset, the very first thing I say in my profile is that I'm not looking. Then, the messages start coming in. And yeah... you all really don't read the profile...

Then I started noticing trends in the messages I received. The region dictated how nice people were, how stupid they were, how rude they were, how respectful...

I've been getting a real feel for the local flavor and I've gotta say, I'm definitely planning on making actual trips to a few states. But let me give you a breakdown.

So Cal: The people were beautiful and laid back, but no one reads the profile.
No Cal: Still beautiful and still don't read the profile.
Oregon: Wonderful weirdos who still don't read the profile. I had a man message asking for a pair of pee soaked panties. Wonderful weirdos.
Washington: You could tell people here were highly educated, all the people were respectful, and they all seemed to read the profile. Mark this as a must visit!
Idaho: Not that there were enough people to get a feel, but mostly it seemed everyone doesn't read the profile.
West Nevada: A few too many assholes with a few too many spelling errors. No one read the profile.
East Nevada: It's a bad mix when everyone's very into instant gratification and they don't read the profile. I had some real angry people here.
Arizona: The exact opposite of Washington with a few exceptions.
Utah: Respectful and shy. At least no one wanted pee soaked panties. Some read the profile.
Wyoming: I thought everyone could read and write English here? I'm still not sure what you all were trying to tell me, but I'm almost positive you couldn't read the profile.
Montana: Literally everyone I talked to basically said there's nothing to do so why not do "it". Sounds like a fun place... And by context I'll assume you didn't read the profile.
Colorado: We mostly keep to ourselves and you get a good mix here with everyone moving in from all over. And yes, a lot of stoners. A few read the profile.
New Mexico: More interesting people who don't read the profile. I had someone request a jar of shit from me. A literal jar of shit. I didn't understand it either.
West Texas: Genuine people who were mostly respectful and mostly read the profile.
Central Texas: Rudest people so far.
South Texas: Very into money. That's honestly the only thing I remember.
Northeast Texas: Some sexy people who mostly read the profile. Of everywhere in Texas, I'd probably want to visit here most.
Oklahoma: No one read the profile, but I also got the distinct impression that most people couldn't read... hmm...
Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota: Man what are you all even doing? First of all, stop masquerading as 3 states when you've got the same exact people in each state. Secondly, read the profile.
North Dakota: Randomly has the nicest, most respectful people who all read the profile! Marking Fargo as a must visit!
Minnesota: Mostly nice people. I think it's a thing with people from cooler climates... And they mostly read the profile.

My online road trip is far from done. We'll be heading into the South soon, and then there's the delightful monsters on the east coast to deal with. If you guys seem interested, I'll post more about my experiences with the locals. I've been having fun so far!

But seriously, Washington and North Dakota. Rawr to you both!

Don't worry, if no one reads the profile they definitely won't read the blog.

If you come to S.W. Mi. you will see we are a lot like your peeps in Minnesota, { I was born in Laverne Minn. } So it's a good comparison for us to see.

Excellent, This type of excursion is long overdue. I have found it tends to cycle a bit by season. Active and interesting folks are out and 'doing' when it gets nice and not on line nearly as much.

I have found certain Chat Rooms have an atmosphere as well, you may want to try an application of your experiment there as well. Have fun, Play safe!

Honestly it was only a few people, but we actually thought about moving there and have summarily decided against it. The problem is they have no filter.

Dude...she's sharing her experience... why don't you create an 'accurate poll' if you're dissatisfied.

Interesting approach. I have found through actual travel, and doing the same with my profile as I did travel that as a guy and guys don't get many replies. I got replies when I was fresh and new to a location, but it dried up pretty quickly. I usually put myself in a location a week or so before travel and start reaching out.
I read the profile nearly a 100%. I get lost in the ones that write a book and hide key information as a test throughout their profile. I have reach out to "not lookings" in the past just to say Ho or compliment a picture. Sometimes I had the best luck with them.

I don't speak for all guys in AZ - what I have found is many women, in and around Northern AZ, have hardly anything written on their profiles. A paragraph or 2 at most - often some of the fairly typical vanilla sentences. Hardly enough to figure out what they want or to reference as a non-sexual conversation starter. And not enough to know if they want to meet anyone, or who might qualify.

So I've wasted a lot of points reading profiles that say essentially nothing.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I don't remember how, but I did notice you were 'in' OKC a couple weeks ago...think you might have shown up on my homepage while camming. I considered messaging you to see if you'd want to have lunch, but then I viewed your profile and saw you were 'traveling'...like Bigblackman did.

It doesn't bode well that people here give off the impression they *can't* read, but I kind of understand what you mean. Mostly, what I get is that most people (read: men because I seek men) DON'T read profiles. Then again, many men who actually travel here from other locales for work also *don't* read profiles. It's annoying as fuck!

Have fun on the rest of your travels, lol.

Being a Washington native...I concur with your observation...Unfortunately it seems everyone wants to move here...Which is driving property values through to roof...A great thing if you want to sell...Buying...Not so much...Property taxes have also gone through the roof...The homeless population is growing by leaps and bounds because we do have some programs in place to help...We haven't been missed by the Opioid epidemic either...Gang activity is also at a all time high...All of this makes me more determined to move to warmer climes so I can ride year 'round like I used to here...Hell...It snowed here the other day...We had a storm warning on all the mountain passes...Last twenty years weather wise has been nuts...I'm looking at north Cali where my sister lives...Rather than central Texas where my asshole brother lives...You're right on about Texas...I'll visit the DFW area only for the annual vintage guitar show...Worst BBQ I've ever eaten...It was incinerated...Much like eating charcoal...Great post...

this must be because North Dakota is close to Manitoba where the best people in the world come from.

We spend our money down there so we help influence their minds a lot. even if none of them there know that there is a border and we are from another country.

I wont say I read your profile because I just read blogs mostly unless I see something of interest and my area. so since you are in Minnesota currently that is out of my global area. Plus your age is out of my age range too. 2 strikes I do not need a third to know not going to work out.
that must be it!

Yes, this is my kind of traveling. Mostly since it's free.

It is annoying though... I dont feel like we're asking for much, just a little investment of time before we get naked. Doesn't seem hard, but maybe it is?

Thanks girl!
